Bob Fosse and Michael Jackson.

So, I just watched The Pajama Game (I saw the play ages ago, but had never seen the movie).

Other than noticing that WOW, THE ROMANCE STORYLINE IS NOT JIVING WITH MY MODERN SENSIBILITIES and OH MY GOD, REALLY? THE BOSS GOT AWAY WITH STEALING SIX MONTHS OF THEIR MONEY AND DIDN'T HAVE TO ANSWER FOR IT, THE HELL?, what I really came away with was that some parts of the famous Steam Heat dance reminded me a whole lot of Michael Jackson:

So I did what I do and I Googled around and discovered that NO, I AM NOT CRAZY (at least on this front), and that plenty of other people have come to the conclusion that Fosse must have been a big influence on Michael Jackson. It's ESPECIALLY apparent in the Snake Dance from The Little Prince musical:

And if you want to see Fosse and Jackson cut together, voila!:

Just thought I'd share.

Anyway, YAY FOR SUNDAY AFTERNOONS, AND YAY FOR DISCOVERING WEIRD THINGS.
