Tantalize (2007):
It's got some steamy moments, some scary moments, some icky moments (chilled baby squirrel -- ewwwww), nice short chapters for the reluctant readers out there and a clever format. (The chapter headings are broken up into a menu.) It has loads of references to other books and a couple of plot twists that I did NOT see coming. Like, at ALL.
Eternal (2009):
I really liked that the story goes in uncomfortable directions -- Miranda does some Really Bad Things as a vampire -- and I loved that it ends in a decidedly non-Twilight Saga manner. Which made me wonder if the bit about Zachary watching Miranda sleep night after night (a la Edward Cullen) was a deliberate Twilight parallel, in order to completely Blow The Reader's Mind by pulling an awesome switcheroo at the end.
Blessed (2011):
Everything. Writing, characterization, plotting, surprises, chemistry, originality, action, confidence in and respect for the audience, EVERYTHING. I love these books. LOVE. THESE. BOOKS.
Diabolical (2012):
Fun stuff, as always. If you like the rest of the series, Diabolical shouldn't disappoint. The strongest aspect, as in previous installments, is in the worldbuilding. That isn't to say that any of the other aspects are weak—the characters are likable and believable, the dialogue rings true, the different voices are all distinct, and the action is fabulously entertaining—but it's the worldbuilding that really shines.
