How did I miss this travesty?

I had finally managed to block the existence of the first one from my memory, but this newish one brought the horror flooding back.

No, I haven't read them.  But I didn't watch the third Anne movie, either.  I realize that there's a possibility (however slight) that any and all of them are super-fab.  But the whole concept is just... not cool.
