Elle Cosimano's DEAD BLUE, in which a math-genius from a DC trailer park is the only student able to solve complex clues left by a serial killer targeting classmates, thus making herself the main suspect, to Kathy Dawson at Dial, in a pre-empt, in a two-book deal, for publication in Fall 2013.

Page Morgan, you had me at "gothic thriller".

And Elle Cosimano, you had me at "math-genius from a DC trailer park".

So both of those are cheerful-making.
