Library thievery.

In Oregon:

The Eagle Point man accused of stealing nearly 400 books from multiple local libraries has been indicted on felony robbery and theft charges and is barred from all Rogue Valley book lenders while he awaits trial.

In Illinois:

The medical student, a Cleveland woman, 29, admitted to stealing $2,773 worth of materials. She was arrested.

In Connecticut:

The four-foot-tall kiosk, which consisted of a heavy wooden pedestal and a slotted and locked Plexiglas box top, weighed upwards of 50 pounds and was used to collect donations after performances, as well as impulse donations by grateful library patrons. Library executive director Kathy Leeds estimates there was no more than $30 in the box at the time it went missing.

Classy!
