Tintin in the Congo a bestseller.

Obviously, it's due to controversy.

From the Sydney Morning Herald:

Sales of a Tintin comic book have rocketed since Britain's Commission for Racial Equality claimed it was racist, according to a British newspaper.

The comic, "Tintin in the Congo" has reached number eight on Internet retailer Amazon's most popular books list, The Daily Telegraph reported.

Tintin in the Congo was the only Tintin title we didn't carry back at the Monkey.  I was never sure if it was because of the content or because it isn't really considered part of the canon or because it was only available in hardback at the time, while the rest of them were in paperback.  Content-wise, I do remember that we got flack for carrying Tintin in America.

Anyway, looks like Borders hasn't stopped carrying it, though they've moved it to the grown-up section.
